$200m fund III

We at DN Capital have just closed our third fund at $200m as reported by the Wall Street Journal and TechCrunch. It’s an exciting time and pleasing to have increased support from our existing investors as well as some great new backers.

DN Capital has had successes including Endeca’s acquisition by Oracle, Lagan/Kana being acquired by Verint and we’ve got a great portfolio of companies including ShazamWindeln and Quandoo. It’s a lot of work but a lot of fun and a privilege to work with the great teams at these companies.

Personally, this was my first fundraising process and I’ve had emails ignored, data requests going back to 2001 as well as great meetings with investors who clearly understand what we do. I’ve always tried to give a quick yes/no to everyone who gets in touch with me for investment and have a new appreciation of how important this is!

We will continue to be focused on deals from €250k to €10m across all technology sectors including software, mobile, digital media, ecommerce and marketplaces. These can be all across Europe from our London office (Berlin is coming) and the US from Palo Alto, particularly businesses expanding to Europe.

To everyone who has worked with and supported us – thank you!
